Peace Corps Collection, 1959-1994.

The Peace Corps Collection consists of documents dated 1959 to 1994, with the bulk falling from 1981 to 1986. The collection contains correspondence, reports, printed materials and photographs from the period during and following the Peace Corps' founding, as well as seminar correspondence, planning documents, publications, notes, and tape cassettes from the 25th Anniversary National Seminar on Future Directions for the Peace Corps, held July 8-12, 1986, at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Also included are documents reflecting the activities of the Center for Research and Education (CRE), including minutes, seminar planning documents and training materials.
